I studied photojournalism at the University of Florida, and worked at several newspapers around the country. In every image, I strive for both simplicity and depth. It may seem a paradox, but I think the best images achieve both. It’s the real goal of communication: to convey a complex message with economy. In our work, we use light, composition, and content to create simplicity. We can only create depth by developing great ideas. We do that through collaboration with our clients.

I studied photojournalism at both the University of Nebraska and Ohio University, Before Meggan and I started Keyhole Photo, I worked at different newspapers as a photojournalist. One thing has remained constant through all of those years: I will climb a tree to get the right shot, though after an incident in Maryland, I will always check for poison ivy vines.
